Corpsnews, Jakarta – Kapolri Jenderal Idham Azis menegaskan bahwa negara tidak akan kalah dengan aksi premanisme yang terjadi. Pernyataan Kapolri ini merujuk pada aksi penyerangan kelompok John Kei di Perumahan Green Lake City, Cipondoh, Tangerang.
Menurut Idham, Polri tidak akan memberikan ruang kepada kelompok preman yang membuat resah dan takut masyarakat. Selain itu, Idham juga mengapresiasi jajaran Polda Metro Jaya telah menangkap kelompok John Kei yang diduga melakukan penyerangan tersebut.
“Kuncinya adalah negara tidak boleh kalah dengan preman,” kata Kapolri Jenderal Idham Azis di Jakarta, Senin (22/6/2020).
Idham menekankan, negara harus hadir dan tidak boleh kalah dengan aksi-aksi kriminalisme. Menurutnya, tindakan penganiayaan, pengerusakan atau pun penjarahan sangat tidak dibenarkan.
Jenderal bintang empat itu meminta agar proses hukum pelaku akan terus dikawal sampai sidang nanti. Idham juga meminta agar masyarakat ikut mengawasi proses penegakan hukum tersebut.
“Kami proses dan kamu kawal hingga ke persidangan nanti,” tegas Idham.
Sebelumnya, Kapolda Metro Jaya Irjen Nana Sudjana mengungkapkan bahwa anak buah dari John Kei sempat melakukan penyerangan terhadap kelompok Nus Kei di Kosambi, Jakarta Barat.

Nana menjelaskan, kejadian itu menyebabkan salah satu kelompok Nus Kei berinisial ER meninggal dunia akibat luka bacok. Sedangkan, korban satu lagi inisial AR, jari tangannya putus akibat sabetan benda tajam.
“Kasus ini terjadi pada Minggu 21 Juni 2020 sekitar pukul 11.30 terjadi penganiayaan diduga dialkukan kelompik John Kei berjumlah 5 sampai 7 orang terhadap kelompok Nus Kei di Kosambi, Cengkareng, Jakarta Barat. Yang menyebabkan 1 orang MD, ER yang bersangkutan meninggal karena luka bacok dibeberapa tempat, dan 1 orang lain putus jari, tangan empat jari tangan putus AR,” papar Nana dalam jumpa pers di Mapolda Metro Jaya, Senin (22/6/2020).
Kemudian, kata Nana, dihari yang sama, kelompok John Kei juga melakukan penyerangan ke rumah Nus Kei yang berada di Perumahan Green Lake City, Cipondoh, Tangerang. (pusatsiaranpers)
