Gelar Acara Seremonial, KNPI Minta Menpora Copot Deputi II Kemenpora

JAKARTA – DPP KNPI menyesalkan langkah yang diambil oleh Deputi II Kementerian Pemuda dan Olahraga (Kemenpora) yang mengurusi Pengembangan Pemuda tidak menjalankan intruksi Presiden Jokowi dalam penanganan wabah Covid19.

“Kami menyesalkan apa yang dilakukan oleh Deputi II, bukannya turun ke masyarakat malah mereka membuat acara seremonial dan buat video imbauan, masyarakat butuh aksi nyata. Bukan video atau acara seremonial,” kata Ketua Umum DPP KNPI, Haris Pertama dalam Keterangan Persnya Sabtu (21/3).

Kepala Deputi II, Asrorun Ni’am kata Haris harus mendapat sanksi tegas berupa pencopotan, karena langkah dia yang dinilai tidak tunduk dan patuh kepada Presiden Jokowi. “Harusnya dia menggandeng seluruh element pemuda untuk ikut mencegah penularan Covid-19 yang saat ini sangat meresahkan. Bukan kemudian membuang anggaran dengan acara yang tidak bermanfaat, Menpora harus memberikan sanksi tegas pencopotan,” tegas Haris.

DPP KNPI mengancam akan mengumpulkan seluruh OKP yang ada untuk memprotes sikap Deputi II Kemenpora yang tidak tunduk kepada intruksi presiden. “Kami selaku wadah dari OKP sangat menyesalkan langkah Deputi yang mengadakan acara seremonial dengan nama Pertemuan Terbatas Forum Kepemudaan Peran Organisasi Kepemudaan Dalam Pencegahan Virus Corona (Covid-19), harusnya tidak ada lagi pertemuan seremonial, yang rakyat butuhkan adalah turun langsung,” ujarnya.

Haris mencontohkan DPP KNPI sudah melakukan langkah cepat turun ke masyarakat untuk membantu mengedukasi dan membagikan sanitizer dan masker. “Kami turun langsung selain memberikan edukasi terhadap bahaya virus corona kami juga membagikan sanitizer dan masker. Harusnya langkah seperti ini yang diperlukan oleh kementerian,” ungkap Haris.(Kuya)
