Polres Kupang Kota Dinilai Lelet Dalam Penanganan Kasus Kematian Melito Amaral
CORPSNEWS, Kota Kupang – Kecelakakan lalu lintas (lakalantas) di Jalan Thamrin Kota Kupang, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur,(NTT), pada senin (30/12/2019) yang merenggut nyawa Melito Amaral (18), warga RT 14 RW 06, Desa Oebelo, Kecamatan Kupang Tengah, Kabupaten Kupang, NTT. Dinilai tak wajar dan lelet ditangani oleh pihak kepolisian.
Hal ini disampaikan oleh Dedy Jahapai, SH sebagai Pengacara Korban yang di awak media di ruang kerjanya, Kantor Jahapay & Partners, Maulafa, Kota Kupang, NTT. Jumat, 28/02/2020.
“Ciri-ciri yang dilihat pada tubuh jenazah korban setelah meninggal menunjukan tanda-tanda tidak wajar, ini bukan kecelakaan murni. Sebagai kuasa hukum, saya minta pihak penyidik kepolisian dalam hal ini polisi untuk segera menindaklanjuti kasus ini supaya bisa ada titik terang, karena keluarga korban tidak mendapatkan informasi terkait perkembangan penyelidikan kasus ini,” jelas Dedy Jahapay.
Sebelum itu, keluarga korban Melito Amaral (18) menduga korban meninggal tidak wajar.
Dugaan korban meninggal tidak wajar karena pihak keluarga menemukan luka tidak wajar di sekujur tubuh korban yakni luka diduga tusukan benda tajam di ketiak kanan, patah tulang pada paha kaki kanan dan terdapat luka sayatan diduga sayatan benda tajam di bagian telinga serta pipi korban. Demikian disampaikan paman korban, Carlos Soares Pinto (58) ditemani sepupu korban, Francelino Pinto (21) saat ditemui di Desa Oebelo, Kabupaten Kupang, NTT. Selasa (28/02/2020).
“Pada saat kami mandikan jenazah hingga selesai, kami lihat ada yang tidak beres, ada satu luka tusukan di ketiak korban dan luka lainnya. Luka ditubuhnya tidak seperti orang yang celaka motor,” ujar Carlos.
Dikisahkannya, sebelum korban meninggal, ia berpamitan kepada keluarga untuk mengikuti salah satu pesta pembaptisan di salah satu rumah di Desa Oebelo pada Minggu (29/12/2019).
Selanjutnya, pihak keluarga mendapatkan kabar pada Senin (30/12/2019) sekitar pukul 04.00 Wita.
Jika terdengar kabar tersebut, pihak keluarga kaget dan tidak menyangka korban yang kesehariannya jarang ke Kota Kupang tiba-tiba dikabarkan meninggal.
Carlos menuturkan, korban sebelumnya dibonceng oleh rekannya bernama FDA alias S dari tempat pesta menuju rumah rekannya di sekitar tempat tinggal korban.
Selanjutnya, korban bersama rekannya berinisial FDA menggunakan motor matic Yamaha Fino warna merah meninggalkan kompleks perumahan.
Hal ini dibenarkan sepupu korban Francelino Pinto (21) yang melihat korban yang dibonceng Santet melintas ke rekan korban lainnya yang bertempat tinggal di dalam kompleks pemukiman
Saat itu, Francelino bersama sejumlah rekannya duduk di kandang Natal yang dibuat warga melihat korban dari arah pemukiman kompleks menuju ke luar lokasi.
“Sekitar jam 1 malam saya melihat mereka keluar naik motor, saya juga hampir diserempet,” saya pun tak mengetahui korban dan FDA hendak melakukan perjalanan ke mana, terang Francelino.
Paman korban, Carlos mengaku pihak keluarga menaruh curiga karena korban tidak diketahui keberadaannya saat itu hingga dikabarkan meninggal.
“Yang memberikan keterangan dia meninggal adalah FDA, kami dapat info jam 4 pagi dan dia juga bersama rekannya yang mengantarkan jenazah,” demikian dijelaskannya, FDA ini hanya merupakan rekan korban dan bukan merupakan keluarga korban, namun memberikan keterangan kepada polisi bahwa ia merupakan keluarga korban.
Carlos menambahkan bahwa saat berada di rumah duka, ibu korban yang mempertanyakan kematian korban tidak wajar kepada FDA. Namun, pertanyaan itu hanya dijawab bahwa ia lah yang membawa korban sebelum mengalami kecelakaan.
“Pada waktu itu mamanya melihat, namanya naluri seorang mama ya, dia (mama korban) bilang, ‘kok anak saya seperti tidak celaka, seperti orang tusuk-tusuk’. Lalu, FDA ini menjawab dengan nada kasar, bilang ‘Saya yang bawa dia’,” kata Carlos menirukan percakapan ibu korban dengan FDA.
Carlos juga mengungkapkan berbagai keanehan lain dalam kecelakaan ini.
“Keanehan lain tersebut adalah, motor hanya mengalami rusak (patah) pada spakbor depan. Seharusnya motor juga mengalami kerusakan parah jika keadaan pengemudinya separah itu. Hal aneh lainnya lagi adalah motor jatuh di bagian kiri dengan jarak 36 meter dari posisi korban jatuh,” tutupnya.
