SERGAI — Ketua Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai (Sergai), dr. M. Riski Ramadhan Hasibuan, SH, SE mengapresiasi dan mendukung kinerja Kapolres Sergai AKBP R. Simatupang, SH, M.Hum dalam memberantas narkoba dan judi di wilayah hukumnya.
Menurut Riski Ramadhan Hasibuan, narkoba merupakan musuh negara. Karena peredaran barang haram itu harus terus diperangi lantaran bahayanya bisa merusak tatanan keluarga dan seluruh sendi kehidupan masyarakat hingga menyebabkan kriminalitas menjadi meningkat. Khususnya, yang menjadi sasaran utama adalah generasi muda masa depan.
“Kita patut mengapresiasi dan mendukung penuh kinerja Polres Sergai dibawah kepemimpinan Kapolres AKBP R.Simatupang,SH.,M.Hun dalam memberantas peredaran narkoba yang merusak generasi muda, terlebih juga perjudian serta tindak kejahatan lainnya,”kata Ketua DPRD Sergai, Rabu (26/2) sore di ruang kerjanya.
Masih kata Riski “Salut dengan Kapolres yang turun langsung pimpin penggerebekan Judi dan Narkoba di Desa Nagur Kecamatan Tanjung Beringin baru baru ini dan melakukan tindakan tegas terhadap para Bandar Narkoba”.
Oleh sebab itu, politisi asal Partai Gerindra tersebut mengajak seluruh komponen lapisan masyarakat untuk turut mengantisipasi dan memerangi peredaran narkoba maupun judi Artinya, tidak bisa hanya peran kepolisian saja dalam memeranginya.
“Dalam memberantas narkoba bukan hanya tugas polisi, akan tetapi perlu dukungan semua pihak atau elemen masyarakat , untuk menyelamatkan generasi muda dari bahaya narkoba,”tegas Riski.
Ia mengimbau agar para pemuda dan pemudi di Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai untuk tidak mudah mencoba-coba rasanya menggunakan narkoba, karena hal itu dapat membuat kecanduan. Efeknya merasakan nikmat sementara, namun ternyata hasilnya merusak kesehatan, khususnya pada jaringan otak.
“Apa jadinya kalau para generasi bangsa sudah rusak karena narkoba, maka estafet pembangunan tentu tidak akan berhasil, bahkan berakibat kemunduran bukan kemajuan,”ungkap Ketua DPRD Sergai dr Riski Ramadhan Hasibuan mengakhiri.(RH)
