Asah Kemampuan Prajurit di Air, Prajurit Wijayakusuma Dilatih Renang

Banyumas – Prajurit Wijayakusuma, selain dituntut mahir dan profesional dalam setiap pelaksanaan tugasnya, juga dituntut mahir dan profesional dalam kemampuannya dibidang jasmani.

Guna mengasah untuk mahir dan profesional dibidang jasmani prajurit Wijayakusuma, Korem 071/Wijayakusuma menggelar latihan renang bersama di Obyek Wisata Owabong Purbalingga, Kamis (27/2/2020).

Renang merupakan salah satu keterampilan dan ketangkasan bagi setiap prajurit TNI AD, karenanya latihan ini merupakan tuntutan dan salah satu program kebijakan TNI AD dalam membentuk postur tubuh prajurit.

Pentingnya ketangkasan diair bagi setiap prajurit TNI-AD, mengingat sebagian wilayah Indonesia baik dalam tugas sehari hari maupun dalam penugasan atau operasi berada dimedan yang berawa, laut, sungai, danau dan lainnya sehingga ketangkasan ini sangat perlu dimiliki. Selain itu, bermanfaat juga untuk menjaga kesehatan dan kebugaran fisik prajurit.

Danrem 071/Wijayakusuma Kolonel Kav Dani Wardhana, S.Sos., M.M., M.Han., menyampaikan prajurit Wijayakusuma dan PNS nya agar selalu memanfaatkan waktu yang ada untuk selalu meningkatkan kemampuan diri khususnya pembinaan jasmani, hal ini sangat berguna untuk kebutuhan setiap prajurit sendiri seperti saat akan UKP ataupun mengikuti pendidikan nantinya.

Latihan yang dipandu personel Jasmani Korem 071/Wijayakusuma ini merupakan kegiatan yang diprogramkan setiap bulan sekali pada hari kamis untuk memelihara serta meningkatkan kemampuan prajurit Korem 071/Wijayakusuma.

“Ketangkasan renang wajib di kuasai oleh setiap prajurit, guna membentuk prajurit yang trengginas. Selain itu, sebagai salah satu persyaratan bagi prajurit pada saat akan diusulkan untuk kenaikan pangkat, kursus-kursus maupun pendidikan lainnya dan yang terpenting adalah mendukung pelaksanaan tugas pokok TNI”, terangnya.

Disamping itu lanjutnya, kegiatan latihan renang ini sebagai wahana memupuk dan mempererat soliditas dan kebersamaan prajurit dan PNS Makorem 071/Wijayakusuma, serta sebagai wahana refresing menikmati suasana lingkungan berada ditengah masyarakat, sehingga dengan hal demikian jalinan silaturahmi dan komunikasi prajurit dan PNS terbina makin erat bersama masyarakat diwilayah guna memperkokoh kemanunggalan TNI-Rakyat diwilayah.(**)
