JABAR – Perumahan Bumi Mutiara Indah Dsn. Karanggelam Ds. Dawuan Tengah Kec. Cikampek Kab. Karawang yang terkena banjir, telah dilaksanakan kunjungan dan pemantauan langsung oleh Kapolda Jawa Barat Irjen. Pol. Drs. Rudy Sufahriadi.

Mendampingi Kapolda Jabar dalam pemantauan tersebut Karo Ops Polda Jabar Kombes Pol Steven M. Napiun S.I.K, S.H.,M.Hum, Karo Rena Polda Jabar Kombes Pol I Bagus Ray, Dir Binmas Kombes Pol Yudhi Faizal Hambali S.H, M.H, Karolog Polda Jawa Barat Kombes Pol Slamet Sutiono, Dansat Brimob Kombespol Asep Saepudin S.I.K., Kapolres karawang AKBP Arif rachman Arifin S.I.K., M.H, Dandim 0604 Karawang Letkol Inf, serta Ketua Bayangkari Polda Jawa Barat Ny. Luly Rudy Sufahriadi beserta pengurus, Wakil Bupati Karawang H. Ahmad Zamakharsyari, S.Ag, Sekda Kab. Karawang H. Acep Jamhuri.

Kegiatan peninjauan Kapolda Jabar tersebut dalam rangka pengecekan lokasi banjir dan pemberian bantuan kepada korban bencana banjir di perumahan Bumi Mitra Indah I Kelurahan Dawuan Tengah Kec. Cikampek Kab. Karawang,

Dalam kesempatan tersebut disampaikan bantuan berupa
Sembako, Selimut, Makanan Bayi serta perlengkapan bayi.

Jumlah kepala keluarga yang terkena banjir di perumahan Bumi Mutiara Indah berjumlah 1325 Kepala Keluarga atau 3025 jiwa, tidak terdapat korban meninggal dunia ataupun luka-luka.

Penyebab banjir tersebut diketahui akibat curah hujan yang sangat deras sehingga mengakibatkan sungai aliran sipon perumahan Bumi Mutiaa Indah meningkat dengan ketinggian air 50 Cm s/d 150 Cm.
