Kendalikan Populasi Tikus Babinsa dan Petani Lakukan Gropyokan

Boyolali – Hama tikus menjadi ancaman serius bagi kelangsungan pertumbuhan tanaman padi. Untuk memberantas serangan hama tikus, Anggota Koramil 08/Banyudono Kodim 0724/Boyolali bersama para petani melaksanakan gropyok tikus di sawah milik petani Desa Jembungan, Kecamatan Banyudono, Kabupaten Boyolali. Hasilnya, puluhan tikus ditangkap dan dimusnahkan. Rabu (12/02).

Anggota Koramil 08/Banyudono Kodim 0724/Boyolali bersama petani langsung terjun ke sawah untuk mengendalikan populasi hama tikus agar tidak berkembang biak. Sebab, tikus mampu merusak padi yang sedang tumbuh di areal persawahan. “Pada masa tanam seperti ini, para petani harus mewaspadai serangan hama tikus. Para Babinsa memang harus tanggap terhadap situasi yang ada, agar petani tidak gagal panen, dimana wilayah binaannya merupakan endemik hama tikus”, ungkap Babinsa Jembungan Sertu Joko Suprihatin.

Menurutnya, kegiatan rutin seperti ini dilaksanakan sebagai wujud pendampingan TNI kepada para petani. Meski menggunakan peralatan seadanya, Babinsa bersama para petani padi dapat memaksimalkan hasil tangkapan hama tikus ini. “Dengan kerja sama dan komunikasi yang intensif, semoga kehadiran kami dapat menjadikan suntikan semangat bagi para petani demi meningkatkan kuantitas dan mutu hasil panen padi di wilayah Kecamatan Banyudono ini”, Imbuh Sertu Joko Suprihatin.

Kehadiran kami untuk memastikan petani dapat beraktivitas secara nyaman dan mampu meningkatkan hasil panennya, hal ini sekaligus untuk mendukung suksesnya program swasembada pangan yang dicanangkan pemerintah,” pungkas Babinsa.(Agus Kemplu)
