BAKTI KEMANUSIAAN PRAJURIT KOARMADA III DENGAN DONOR DARAH

Sorong, Papua Barat – Kota sorong,12 Februari 2020, Segenap prajurit Komando Armada (Koarmada) III memupuk solidaritas melalui bakti sosial kemanusiaan donor darah yang diselenggarakan Palang Merah Indonesia (PMI) Kota Sorong bekerja sama dengan UTD Rumah Sakit Sele Be Solu di Puskesmas Sorong Jl. Pramuka, Kel. Remu, Distrik Sorong, Kota Sorong, Papua Barat, Rabu (12/2/2020).
Wakil Ketua I PMI Kota Sorong, Tamrih Tajuddin, S.T., M.M., mengungkapkan bahwa semakin kurangnya ketersediaan darah pada UTD Rumah Sakit Sele Be Solu dan banyaknya permintaan yang tidak bisa ditunda, maka PMI bekerja sama dengan Koarmada III dan berbagai instansi lainnya untuk mengadakan donor darah secara sukarela.
Para prajurit Koarmada III mendonorkan darahnya secara sukarela untuk membantu ketersediaan darah di UTD Rumah Sakit Sele Be Solu dan banyaknya permintaan dari berbagai rumah sakit. Donor darah merupakan salah satu kegiatan yang bernilai kemanusiaan dan bermanfaat bagi kesehatan orang yang melakukannya.
Donor darah, banyak sekali manfaatnya, antara lain dapat menyelamatkan nyawa orang lain yang sedang dalam kondisi kritis dan memerlukan transfusi darah. Selain itu, donor darah juga bermanfaat bagi kesehatan pelakunya. Diantaranya menyeimbangkan zat besi, mengurangi resiko penyakit berat seperti serangan jantung, stroke, dan obesitas.(Timo)
